Can you believe it? I accidentally, in my daze, deleted the entire folder of pictures I took in 2008. My heart sank. I immediately called up our emergency IT helpdesk but they told me there is no way to recover.
Not giving up, I googled for an hour for a solution and finally chanced upon this software call ‘Undelete PLUS’ and managed to cover at least 70% of my pictures. Phew!!!

I left, came back and the whole landscape changed!
Its the beginning of Autumn 2008. Sigh, another season has passed by. Unbelievable, its my 3rd autumn here and I have yet to still get a picture perfect shot of the autumn leaves.
I love it. It gives me such a dramatic and nostalgic feeling each time. The fiery colours everywhere. Brown leaves fallen on the ground making a natural artwork itself on every sidewalk, road or grass patch.
I’ve gotta get my camera out this weekend to the park!
P.S: Thank you all who sent their prayers for my dad. He is on a good track of recovery now!

My daddy is going in for an operation in about an hour’s time. A major one. Complicated. 8 hours. 4 doctors.
We are gonna chant for the great success of his operation and then for a speedy recovery. Also, that he’ll be alright and be able to continue living a fulfilling life with lesser pain and much much happiness.

Sometimes my job gets me to a bit exotic places but this time, it was really really a brief experience (No joke, I think this is the shortest longest trip I’ve been, if you know what I mean).
BUT I love Rio! Wanna go back someday for the Samba, Caipirinha and Picanha (especially at Porcao)!!!
I think sometimes you wonder what I do - This is what WE do! 
After a long long flight, this view made it worthwhile.
And this which was very deceiving - The Favelas. Did you know Rio is one of the most charming and yet dangerous place in the world?
