First trimester

  • x Pregnancy books – Mr Fudge did the research, selection and ordering from Amazon UK and he’s reading them
    • Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy (Mayo Clinic)
    • Your Pregnancy Bible (Anne Deans)
  • x Stretch marks cream (Clarins Huile Tonic) – all my girlfriends swore by it, so far so good
  • x Body cream (Kiehl’s Creme de Corps) – not specifically for pregnancy but I thought I’d just use the best thing around

Second trimester

  • x Clothes (Boob Design) – No.1 favourite, great cut, quality and on sale (Isabella Oliver) – Good quality but pricey, expandable style so will use in third trimester (Pinkblush Maternity) – US site; great pieces and on sale
  • x Innerwear (Uniqlo Airism Bra Camisole) – Bought x4 of L size, not real maternity wear but great looking and comfy
  • x Body pillow (L’original Theraline) – Loved it! Great for sleeping, sitting up and propping up my computer in bed too. A must have!
  • x Birthball (Birth ease) – Just arrived; quite a task to get it pumped up but quality looks good and loved the color
  • x Prenatal Yoga (Birthlight – Gilda @ St Gilles) – Very relaxing and calming
  • x Prenatal Massages (Nuro @ Singapore) (Sensasia @ Emirates Golf Club, Dubai) (Sylvie Bianchi @ Brussels) – These were the amazing and unforgetable ones

Third trimester

  • x Childbirth and Baby books
    • Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth – A good read!
    • What to Expect the 1st Year (Heidi Murkoff)
    • Eat, Sleep, Poop (Scott Cohen)
    • The Happiest Baby on the Block (Harvey Karp) – An interesting insight to crying babies. Half way through the book
  • x Kinesiotheraphy (Anne @ Brussels) – Instead of prenatal lessons, we opted to do kine sessions together. She taught us some exercises that I can do on my own or together during labor. Every session ends with a heavenly back massage. I’ll be missing that!
  • x Osteopath (Geraldine Vecoeven @ St Gilles) – Had quite an easy pregnancy so far except some pubic symphysis pain during sleep hours which can be quite irritating at times. After the session at week 37, the pain seems milder and more importantly, I slept much better!

Postnatal

  • x Abdominal binder (Dale Medical 4-panel binder) (Squeem Magical Lingerie)
  • _ Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Theraphy/ Exercises
