Wow, I am even satisfied with myself from all these updating. Mr Fudge thinks I am crazy spending so much time hunching over my pc the whole evening. He had asked me countless time, ‘what are you doing???’. Puzzling.

How to explain that I do really like blogging!

Been surviving without a camera for almost 8 months and now I am really REALLY itching to buy one.

SLR or compact? Its been twirling around my head ever since.

Yes, I have been busy with this. No, it doesn’t involve bettings, just beers, friends and Paul the Octopus!

This is really a game of the world. At every crucial moment, as the crowd goes wild, I think of all the people in the world, regardless of the time and place, black or white, shouting in unison. It amazes me how football brings the world together!

A Kiddy Walibi

We went to Walibi last Sunday with a 7 year old. It’s a great place to spend the Sunday with the whole family though I think it can be quite expensive. Entrance for an adult cost about 32 euros. Try to find some deals for the tickets beforehand (lesson learnt). The place is quite big with loads of greens. A couple of impressive rides (which I didn’t try!). I enjoyed a lot just being there, walking around in my flipflops, soaking in all the happy vibes of children running about and people screaming of excitement from the rides. Just a little let down from the people working there. I think they could have shown more enthusiasm to make the place.

I took some notes about going out with a kid.

Children have no fear. Just plentiful energy.
Don’t ask them if/what they want to eat. Just buy a hamburger.
They are loads of fun. But sometimes like boring weird rides. Like the antique car ride thingy. She insisted to go on it TWICE!

I am glad we made her day and she made ours with her generous smiles.

It was a lovely day (unusual in Brussels).Friends, beer, burger and a good match. We were complete for the evening!

Music In The Park

It was a lovely day! We lazed on our new picnic mat, drank beers, munched chips, read and chased after the shades of trees.

Then we saw this bunch of friends who went to the park with their picnic baskets and music instruments. They played couple of happy tune and slowly gathered a small crowd of happy dancing strangers.

Aw, how I was captured by that scene. And my feet couldn’t stop tapping away.

Bizarre Coincidence

Oh, it gives me goosebumps to think about such coincidences!

We were shopping for garden furniture. Checked in the internet and found this place out of Brussels which is said to have great stuffs at great prices. So off we went immediately!

Lo and behold, when we arrived, we couldn’t believe our eyes as the shop was practically BURNING down. It was still burning. Apparently just started minutes before we arrived. I watched all the lovely furniture turning into ashes. Well, how did we picked that shop?
