Steamed Cod Fish with Ginger and Wolfberries


  • 250g Cod fish fillet
  • 80g old ginger, peeled and finely shredded
  • 1 teaspoon of wolfberries, briefly rinsed before use


  • 1-2 tablespoons of store-bought Abalone sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce


  1. Rinse and gently pat dry cod fish fillet
  2. Place cod fish on a semi-shallow dish
  3. Sprinkle shredded ginger and wolfberries on the cod fish
  4. Then, drizzle all seasonings
  5. Steam the fish over boiling water in a deep wok, for 6 – 8 minutes
  6. Serve with steamed rice
  7. Optional: Add deep fried crispy ginger as garnishing
