Ukrainian Jelly Soup

There’s a first time for everything right? (I must say, I rarely venture into the unknowns and I’ve been pretty adventurous this time round)

I had the occasion to enjoy a typical Ukrainian dinner during my last trip to Kiev with my clients. Instead of wine, we had non-stop flow of vodka (Nemiroff Honey & Pepper Vodka) and instead of water, we were served cranberry juice.

Of all the new discoveries, this dish was extremely special I thought – a cold hardened soup!

Recipe: pieces of chopped meat in a set jelly, mixed with spices and garlic.
