Photoz : Faces

I thought I’ll try out uploading some pictures :) And first thoughts are the pictures I took of my sista and some frens.

Lost in transitions…

The world passes by, yet in her very own world she sleeps…

WTF, I am going against the flow!

Waiting in the deep cold…

Deep in thoughts…

Teatime dazing in Cafe Lourve…

Man, yummy french crepes! ** She smiles a little arch of anticipation

Quick smiles for the captured moment.

Lit a light for me!

The stare.

Ease and happiness…

Cheers to the new year!

Moodz : Unusual Birthday Gift

You know what! I’ve just found out something very suprising last Friday night while dancing intoxicatingly in the dark @ MOS!

That’s a cool place he!

Last week, I’ve received a mail from the Red Cross thanking me for my generous donation of $2700. It was address to me in my fullname. I went around asking, thinking that my company might have been so generous to make such amount of donation and mistakenly on my name. Tried to call to Red Cross too. I was really puzzled.

Then in MOS on Friday late night, after doses of drinks, Mr S start asking me why I hadn’t thank him for the birthday present he got me. Oooh, thank you for the champagne you’ve bought me in Velvet but I didn’t get to pop it!!! I said.

Then he say no no no, its a very expensive gift. I was really puzzled.

Then he asked me about receiving any mail from Red Cross… then the puzzle fell into place and it made sense after all.

$2700 signifies my age!

What a brilliant gift! Its indeed the most unusual, most expensive and most “valueable” gift I’ve ever received…

Isn’t it great!!!

Moodz : A picture paints a thousand words

Just my mood today. Nostalgia. Been looking through my collections of pictures especially those of the last trip. I’ve been trying to master the skill of taking potraits of faces. Out of the hundreds pictures, I DID managed to catch a few good ones. I will post it once I figure how to put up a picture on this blog.

Woke up late today and so missed my morning deal to pick up a friend. I felt so bad! One of my new year resolution is to be PUNCTUAL. I’ve gotta try harder…

Realised time is passing by. One of the things that I would like to do is to take have good and natural pictures of myself taken every 5 years and to make a scrapbook – my looks in this lifetime. You know, I will never look like me today again tomorrow nor anyone else, will ever look like me at this particular moment. Every moment is unique. Every moment is a change. The only permanent thing is change. Environment, thoughts, feelings, even down to our very cells.

With this realisation, I would want to treasure my every moments. Making every moment fulfilling.

And thus, this would be the inspiration I would like my little project of “Faces in a lifetime” to be.

Also, with pictures taken by different photographer, one can see that view of each is also unique.

Mmm…

Moodz : Rain Rain Go Away…

Awww. The gloomy weather wears my energy away. Darn. Don’t know why but I just feel so lethargic and sleepy and down :(

Not exactly down. Since last night, 2 friends has made a comment that I am looking different. But they just can’t explain it. One said its as if I walk with a happy hop in my steps. And he asked me, ‘Are you in love or looking for love?!’

Ha, what a question!

I guess, I am just happy turning into the New Year with lotsa new resolutions and determination to do things.

I’ve started my french lessons since Monday. Its really difficult for me to pronounce it still. I guess need to tame and train my tongue a little ;) Wish me luck!

Had a long dinner last night. At the end, we named it the ‘Naming Convention’ and took pictures to commemorate the occasion. It was to name my soon-to-arrive baby! Of course, being the god-ma, I have to start playing my role even before her arrival.

We thought of many good names, some funny, some hilarious. Altogether, it was a good evening spent with many good friends. Couple of names (only my favourites) :

Keira Lee
Kate Lee
Hannah Lee
Charlotte Lee
Naomi Lee

Keira is the favourite of many. Unique, unusual and for me, the name brings to me a sense of strength and yet deep beauty.

I should start exploring how to put up some pictures to perfect my blog he. Perhaps tonight. (But I think its gonna be another long nite!)

Also, this week is kindda special… kicking off 2006, I’ve since spoken to 2 long lost friends. We kindda got hooked up again via MSN and also Friendster (Wonders of Tech inventions).

BCP – She was my senior in high school. At a certain point, I was kindda heels-over her. Its weird but she was really my idol when I was about 14 years old. Brought her gifts, wrote her letters, visiting her home. But I guess, that turned her off quite a bit and she stayed away from that little weird me. But now that we talk about it, we laughed and mulled over it. She said, ‘I hope you do not have that fansies of me anymore’… Nay, I date men only ;) But indeed it was good to catch up all those lost years (almost 10 years!) We’ll probably meet up in 2 weeks time when she’s back from Barce.

YYYY – She was my classmate in primary school. We were in the same class till we were 8 years old. Somehow, she texted me last night, just asking, how r ya? Then decidedly, I will not succumb to entirely words and emoticons, I picked up the phone and called her (although part of me was still debating, maybe she’s too busy to talk? maybe she’s not interested to talk?) Then, we spoke for a good hour and it was indeed nice to hear her. Eventhough in my mind, I still have the vision of the 8 year old who used to be my best mate. Immediately I checked out her picture in Friendster and voila, what a babe! She’s so pretty! Surely we’ll try to meet up within this week.

Indeed, life’s little pleasures. I can’t explain but I just love to be in touch with people who had once pass the path of our lives.

As I was looking through my phone book today (gotta get some deleted because my phone memory is full!) and I can’t help to think that some of the friends that I’ve made and our path has crossed, we might never have a chance to cross it again.

And with that thought, I shudder. Yea, we only live once.

That’s why these chances to meet up old friends is indeed precious. Everyone has their own journey in life and there’s certainly many things to share and to learn from one another.

** She smiles and looks forwards to all the dinners she has promised for the week. It will be a hectic week though… But WTH, we only live once! Enjoy!

Moodz : Split Personality

Some people must have been wondering where has ms teh been. In fact she was still lurking around in cyber space but was assuming another identity.

Its been a while and now I am back!

I guess its was an identity crisis. Can’t decide to be ms teh, jayteh or nam or etc… shan’t name them all. Or either to be white, black, green (I meant my site outlook).

Also, I guess I was afraid of people reading me, knowing me, my thoughts, insecurities (still fighting but each day I can feel myself becoming stronger).

But I realised this weekend, I am just being me. And I am happy being me.
Why me? Because its me!

So, to start off this year, I’ll be extra nice to me. I wanna love myself more, take good care, be healthy, go jogging, have lotsa fun, learn new stuffs, be passinate about life and live my life to the fullest…

To start off, I am beginning my french classes this week. It will go on for 10 weeks. Hopefully by then I should be able to at least understand conversations and converse too!

I wanna do some self study to brush up my Chinese and Japanese too.

Keeping myself healthy. Exercising and home cook food is my strategy. So I did my first run yesterday for 3km + 100 sit ups (I know its almost mid-Jan but the rain hasn’t gave me a chance, has it?!)

Also, continue to do my daily prayers and 1 hour daimoku. Reading for 30 mins every night before lala-land.

Tentative, these are the short terms daily determinations that I wanna take on.

I’ll write more about my missions and vision.

Tomorrow, the girls are coming over to my place to watch the first season of American Idols together. I should (cross my fingers) cooking dinner… It will be if edible, otherwise, on a last resort, I’ll have to call for Pizzas!

Not sure hows the mood yet, but if everyone is on high note, we should be heading to Mambo (I declared January as the party month in conjunction for New Year!) Just another reason! :)

Ciao ciao!
